Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah helped Basel secure a 4-0 victory over Luzern in the Swiss league on Monday, pushing the team to the top of the league table.
The 21-year-old managed to find the net in the 71th minute, scoring his team's third goal.
It was his fifth league goal since his arrival at the Swiss club last summer.
Salah's compatriot Mohamed El-Nenny came off the bench in the 73rd minute, but he did not't make a major impact during the 17 minutes remaining.
Basel lead the Swiss league table with 52 points, three ahead of second-placed Grasshopper.
