Former Egypt Olympic national team manager Hani Ramzy has been named Wadi Degla coach, succeeding Mohamed Gamal, who went back to coaching juniors.
Ramzy finished his stint at Belgium's Lierse after successfully ensuring them a spot in the top flight.
Degla struggle against relegation after finishing the Egyptian Premier League at the bottom of group A with only three points from a single win of eight matches.
Degla and Lierse are both owned by Belgian-Egyptian businessman Maged Samy.
