John Antwi and Amr Al-Sulaya scored two goals apiece as Ismaily crushed Talae El-Gaish 4-0 in the Egyptian Premier League on Saturday to close the gap with Group B leaders Zamalek to three points.

Midfielder Al-Sulaya converted a penalty after 17 minutes to open the scoring and Ghanaian forward John Antwi doubled Ismaily's lead before the break.

Al-Sulaya scored his second in the 86th minute to make it 3-0 and Antwi completed the rout with one minute remaining.

Ismaily lie second in Group B of the league's new format with 21 points, three behind leaders Zamalek.

This year's league is known as the 'martyrs' league' and is being played in two groups after all domestic competitions were suspended for a year due to the Port Said Stadium disaster that left more than 70 Ahly fans dead in February 2012.
