Zamalek's international striker Ahmed Gaafar has expressed his displeasure over the club's lack of communication with him concerning a new deal, as his contract will expire this summer.
''I have presented my demands concerning a new deal to the club's management, but they didn't answer so far." Gaafar told Ahram Sports on Sunday.
The 27-year-old striker joined Zamalek in the summer of 2009 and performed well over the last four years. He is the team's top scorer with four goals this season.
Gaafar was invited to play for Egypt's national side the Pharaohs this season for the first time and was playing when Egypt beat Zimbabwe 2-1 in the World Cup qualifier last month.
"My demands are reasonable, that’s why I am so surprised...I am waiting for the club's answer, especially as i want to remain at Zamalek." he added.
According to Ahram Sports the player has received a lucrative offer from Masry.
