Masry president Kamel Abou Aly has reached an agreement with his Ismaily counterpart to lure Ismaily's highly-rated keeper Mosaad Awad this summer, Ahram Sports reported on Wednesday.
The 20-year-old produced a series of impressive displays in last month's U-20 African Championship, helping Egypt win the title for the first time since 2003.
He was also named the tournament's best goalkeeper.
Awad's form has prompted Cairo giants Ahly and Zamalek to express an interest in acquiring his services.
Local reports suggested that Awad may leave Ismaily without their consent, having not signed a professional contract. The coastal club firmly refuted the claims.
Masry are now serving a one-year ban following the February 2012 Port Said disaster, which left more than 70 fans dead and hundreds injured.
