An Egyptian security source in Cairo's Tora Prison denied to state news agency MENA that ousted former president Hosni Mubarak had suffered from a sudden upsurge in blood sugar levels during an appeal review session Saturday, as Al-Ahram Arabic news website reported earlier.
A court session held in Tora Prison hospital in southern Cairo, where Mubarak is held pending his trial on corruption charges, ordered his release pending one of his corruption trials. The decision will be appealed by the prosecutor-general.
