Egypt's national team manager, Bob Bradley wants to beef up his 2014 World Cup qualifiers team from 23 players to 25.
The American coach has expressed he's worried about possible injuries on his squad ahead of anticipated matches.
The holders of three successive African Cup of Nations, 2006 and 2008 and 2010, will play Botswana in a friendly in Cairo on 4 June; five days before the Zimbabwe clash for the 2014 World Cup Qualifiers.
They are leading Group G of the African qualifiers, five points clear of second-placed Guinea, while Mozambique lie third with two points, one ahead of bottom side Zimbabwe.
Bidding for their first ticket in their most prestigious tournament since 1990, Egypt will face Zimbabwe and Mozambique in two away games on 9 and 16 June, respectively.
The technical staff are holding a press conference Monday afternoon to talk about the Pharaohs' preparations for the matches before they travel Thursday.
