Hull City have done enough in the summer transfer market to succeed in the Premier League this season, vice-chairman Ehab Allam said on Thursday.
The Tigers signed Egypt and Ahly striker Mohamed Nagy 'Gedo', who impressed during a six-month loan with Hull last season, on a season-long loan on the last day of the summer transfer window.
"We have been very encouraged by what we have seen in the opening three games of the season," Allam told Hull City Daily Mail on Thursday.
"Aside from the opening 20 minutes at Chelsea, the performances have been absolutely superb and we have shown we have the quality to compete with sides at this level.
"Also, all the new signings have shown they can be quality additions for us this season."
Managing director Nick Thompson is also happy with the new signings.
"Hull City have done well in transfer market," Thompson said.
"I look at all of our signings and think they will all make a difference," he added.
"We all know about Ahmed Elmohamady and George Boyd after the roles they played last season and to get Gedo in as well was a good piece of business.
"It looks like a well-balanced squad with more than enough quality to compete," he concluded.
The newly promoted side have spent £12.9m on 11 new players this season, including George Boyd, the first arrival, on 28 May, and Gedo the last late on Monday.
