The Tunisian Football Federation (FTF) has announced the country's Premier League will start on 15 September behind closed doors.
Fans will be allowed to attend games from the second match day of the season, it added.
The interior and sports ministers on Wednesday said the basketball, volleyball and handball seasons would start with fans in attendance.
The FTF decided to allow fans to attend the CAF Champions League and Confederations Cup games from next weekend.
The crowd ban was made to avoid clashes between pro- and anti-government supporters which have erupted since the 25 July murder of opposition politician Mohamed Brahmi.
