Orascom Telecom Holding to be renamed on Egyptian Stock Exchange

Listing committee at Egyptian Stock Exchange (EGX) approves change of name for Orascom Telecom Holding to Global Telecom Holding

Orascom Telecom Holding (OTH) is to be renamed Global Telecom Holding, effective from Wednesday 18 September, the listing committee at the Egyptian Stock Exchange said on Sunday.

OTH is part of the Orascom group. The company trades under the symbol (ORTE.CA). Orascom shares closed at LE4.36 on Sunday, a fall of 0.4 percent.
