Bin Hammam likely needs strong backing from Europe’s 53 football nations to help end Blatter’s 13-year reign as FIFA boss.

The Qatari challenger says he expects talking “about possible cooperation in the future” with Platini, who is seen as a leading FIFA presidential candidate in 2015.

Bin Hammam is attending Tuesday’s UEFA Congress to lobby European officials for their vote on June 1.

He says it’s “my vision and my goal” to improve FIFA’s reputation and bring greater transparency.

Bin Hammam also would welcome a televised debate with Blatter.
