Egypt's Ahly lost to Tunisian giants Esperance 31-24 in the African Handball Champions League final in Morocco on Saturday, winning the silver medal of the tournament.
The Tunisian side led 7-2 at half-time and widened the gap in the second half to prevent the Red devils from winning the African title for the second time in a row.
It's the first title for Esperance throughout the African Handball Champions League history, whilst Ahly have won four times previously, in 1985, 1993, 1994 and 2012.
Ahly booked their place in the final after beating Cameroon's FAP Yaounde 32-28, while Esperance defeated Tunisian side Club Africain 28-23 in the semis.
