Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah made a rare public appearance on Wednesday night, delivering a speech in Beirut on the occasion of a major Shiite Muslim religious commemoration.
Nasrallah, who normally appears via video link for fear of a possible assassination attempt by arch-enemy Israel, spoke in Hezbollah's southern Beirut stronghold to mark the Ashura holiday.
