During the opening of the Hakawy International Arts Festival for Children, on 12 March 2014, Mohamed El-Ghawy, the festival's artistic director, announced the rescheduling of two performances: Frogz from the US, and Yummm! from the UK.
Both performances were scheduled to take place Thursday, 13 March, in the aternoon: Yummm! at 5pm and Frogz at 6pm.
Instead, Yummm! will be performed Saturday, 15 March, at 2pm, and Frogz will be performed Friday, 14 March, at 10am.
El-Ghawy explained that the rescheduling is due to raised security measures at Hanager Theatre location Thursday afternoon, due to a visit in the theatre's vicinity of Egyptian Interim President Adly Mansour as part of a celebration of arts and culture.
