Nigeria could add a fourth friendly to their schedule ahead of the World Cup, Nigeria Football Association's General Secretary Musa Amadu said on Thursday.
Nigeria's preparations include three freindlies against Scotland, Greece and USA but Amadu revealed that the Nigeria FA could organise another friendly if coach Stephen Keshi wanted it.
"We’re putting all measures in place to ensure that the team is properly prepared for the World Cup and that is why we have lined up friendlies up until June 7," Musa Amadu told local media on Thursday
"And if the coach accepts, we could squeeze in one more game before our first game at the World Cup."
Nigeria were drawn in Group F of the World Cup along with Iran, Bosnia, and heavyweights Argentina.
Amadu insisted that the Super Eagles should beat Iran in the group opener to secure a good start in the World competition before facing Argentina.
"It is very important that the Super Eagles win their first group game against Iran. This would go a long way to determine how far the team would go at the World Cup." Amadu said.
