Chelsea striker Samuel Eto’o says his team was already thinking about its Premier League clash with Arsenal while facing Galatasaray in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday.

“We had to reach the quarters, it was our target and we did it. The game became easier when we scored early,” the Cameroonian striker told beIN Sports after the match.

Eto’o opened the scoring after only four minutes and Gary Cahill doubled the lead in the 41st minute to give Chelsea a 3-1 aggregate.

“After scoring our second goal, we handled the game by thinking about Sunday’s match against Arsenal. I really enjoyed playing from the first minute,” he added.

Chelsea are on top of the Premier League table with 66 points and will take on third-placed Arsenal who have 62 points and a game in hand.
