Zamalek coach Ahmed Hossam 'Mido' was dissatisfied with his players despite beating Minya 4-0 on Thursday.

The Cairo giants claimed a league win over rock bottom Minya, thanks in part to a brace from striker Ahmed Ali.

Midfielder Moemen Zakareya added the third two minutes from the end, before left-back Mohamed Abdel-Shafy completed the rout deep into stoppage time.

Zamalek failed to dominate the Upper Egypt side during the first half, and the visitors were close to snatching an early lead.

"I almost destroyed the changing room at half time due to our dip in form in the first half," Mido told a television programme after the game.

Zamalek are second in Group B with 25 points, five behind leaders Petrojet with two games in hand.
