Morocco coach Hervé Renard has revealed his team's preliminary squad for next month’s African Cup of Nations, to be held in Egypt.
Zamalek striker Khalid Boutaib was included in the Atlas Lions' 27-man squad, while Ahly's hitman Walid Azaro, who has been left out of international duties since November, wasn't on the list.
Morocco were drawn in Group D alongside Cote d'Ivoire, Namibia and South Africa.
Al Nassr's striker and Saudi league top scorer Abdearrazak Hamdallah is among the prominent names in the squad, along with centre-back Medhi Benatia, goalkeeper Munir Mohand Mohamedi, attacking midfielder Hakim Ziyech and midfielder Amine Harit.
They will kick off their campaign by facing Namibia on 23 June.
The cup will take place from 21 June to 19 July.
