Morocco coach Herve Renard revealed on Tuesday his team's final 23-man squad for the June-July African Cup of Nations in Egypt, which included Zamalek's experienced striker Khalid Boutaib.
Boutaib retained his place in the squad after being named in the preliminary 27-man roster on 27 May.
Striking trio Ayoub El Kaabi, who plays for Chinese club Hebei China Fortune F.C, Abdelkarim Baadi (Hassania Union Sport Agadir) and Amine Harit (Schalke) were excluded from the final squad, along with Nahdat Berkane's goalkeeper Abdelali Mhamdi.
Morocco were drawn in Group D alongside Ivory Coast, Namibia and South Africa.
They will kick off their campaign by facing Namibia on 23 June.
