18:00 Algeria coach Belmadi has deployed Mehdi Zeffane on the right flank while Aliou Cisse will have to choose between Pape Cisse and Salif Sane to replace Koulibalay who played all the previous games.

17:00 Each team has one major absence. Senegal defender Kalidou Koulibaly will miss the game due to suspension while Algeria's right back Youcef Attal is injured.

The Algerian government has decided to operate 28 flights to Egypt to carry fans wishing to support their national team.

14:00 CAF assigned the Cameroonian referee Sidi Alioum instead of South Africa's Victor Gomez to officiate the AFCON 2019 final game without giving any reasons, after the African confederation announced on Tuesday that Gomez will arbitrate the game.

13:00 Algerian national football team coach Djamel Belmadi has expressed his pleasure with the huge number of fans who attended the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations final against Senegal, asking them to stick with the orders, after the game, whatever the result.

12:00 Algeria booked their place in the tournament's final after achieving a dramatic 2-1 victory against Nigeria in the semi-final, while Senegal made it to the final by defeating Tunisia 1-0.
