The 30-year-old was initially dropped from the squad, but he has been called up following the withdrawal of fullback Mortadha Ben Ouanes, who left the roster due to personal reasons.
"In light of force majeure, national team coach Jalel Kadri has made the decision to summon Seifeddine Jaziri to the AFCON squad, replacing Mortadha Ben Ouanes," stated the Tunisian Football Federation
The 30-year-old forward has previously represented the Eagles of Carthage in 31 appearances, scoring ten goals and providing one assist.
Tunisia have been placed in Group E, alongside Mali, South Africa, and Namibia.
