All 27 players called up by coach Rui Vitoria, including defender Yasser Ibrahim who joined on Thursday and performed rehabilitation exercises, are now in the camp.
Egypt, seven-time winners of the tournament, will play a friendly match against Tanzania on 7 January before traveling to Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, to compete in Group B alongside Ghana, Cape Verde, and Mozambique. The African Cup of Nations runs from 13 January to 11 February.
