According to the Egyptian Football Association (EFA), the team ended their last training in Cairo early on Tuesday ahead of heading to the airport.
The Pharaohs comfortably secured a 2-0 win over Tanzania at Cairo Stadium, with both teams using the match as preparation for the tournament.
Egypt have been drawn into Group B of AFCON 2023, alongside Ghana, Mozambique, and Cape Verde.
The seven-time African champions will kick off their campaign against Mozambique on 14 January, followed by a clash with Ghana four days later, concluding their group stage against Cape Verde on 22 January.
