Feghouli emphasized the importance of avoiding surprises in the continental tournament, after Algeria's unexpected elimination from the group stage in the previous edition.

The reigning African champions have learned from that experience and are determined to perform better this time around.

Algeria's preparations included a training camp in Togo, where they secured a 3-0 victory over the Togolese national team and a convincing 4-0 win against Burundi.

"We had a successful training camp in Togo," Feghouli told Algerian newspaper Al-Nahar on Wednesday.

"We are prepared for any situation, and all the players are motivated to win the title."

Feghouli also highlighted the team's strong defensive and offensive capabilities, noting that they scored seven goals in their past two preparation matches without conceding any goals.

The Algerian squad feels technically prepared in both aspects of the game.

In the group stage of the tournament, Algeria are placed in Group D alongside Angola, Burkina Faso, and Mauritania.

They will begin their Nations Cup campaign with a relatively straightforward match against Angola, aiming to kickstart their journey with a positive result.
