The Super Eagles will be facing the Bafana Bafana team in the prestigious tournament semis in Bouake later today.

"We're in the semis, there's great team spirit and commitment and we're playing as a unit," the Portuguese coach was quoted as saying by CAF’s official website on Wednesday.

"We have a huge game against a strong team in South Africa and we want to win to reach the final because that is our goal,” he added.

After their narrow 1-0 victory over Angola in the quarterfinals, Peseiro believes that his team waits a difficult test and needs to make much effort to continue their mission successfully.

"It's a high-level game and we know their quality, capacity, and spirit - they have great players," the coach explained.

"My players need to give 100% or more to win and achieve our target of making the final,” he concluded.

Nigeria, aiming for their fourth AFCON title, previously triumphed in 1980, 1994, and 2013.
