Palestinian striker Wessam Abou Ali stole the spotlight, scoring a super hat-trick for the Red Devils, while winger Hussein El-Shahat and midfielder Emam Ashour netted the fifth and sixth goals, respectively, to complete the rout.
The reigning champions entered the clash atop the league standings with 55 points, two points ahead of second-placed Pyramids FC, meaning a draw would suffice to retain the title in front of a massive crowd.
Ten minutes into the first half, Moroccan winger Achraf Bencharki initiated a swift counterattack, threading a precise pass to Ahmed “Koka” Nabil on the left flank, to deliver a pinpoint cross to Abou Ali, who converted from close range with a right-footed shot into the centre of the goal.
Three minutes before halftime, Bencharki weaved through the left side before setting up Abou Ali for a second clinical finish.
The decisive moment arrived 10 minutes after the break when Pharco FC goalkeeper Mohamed Shika received a red card for a reckless challenge on Emam Ashour following a VAR review.
Abou Ali completed his hat-trick in the 61st minute, curling a free-kick into the bottom right corner with his right foot.
Ahly coach Emad El-Nahas then introduced fresh legs, including Ali Maaloul, Mohamed “Afsha” Magdi, and goalkeeper Mostafa Shobeir.
Tunisian left-back Maaloul’s emotional cameo marked his final appearance for the club before his contract expired, as he assisted Abou Ali’s third goal with a measured cross.
Hussein El-Shahat extended the lead to 5-0 in the 75th minute, latching onto Abou Ali’s cross and slotting home from six yards.
Ashour sealed the rout in added time with a powerful shot from inside the box after a brilliant backheel from El-Shahat.

The 27-year-old emerged as Ahly’s talisman this season. With 13 goals Ashour tops the scoring charts—a goal ahead of NBE Club’s Osama Faisal and two ahead of Zamalek’s Nasser Mansi, who retains a game in hand.
He was instrumental for the team in key games and a major source of inspiration throughout the season.
The talented midfielder was named Man of the Match on 7 occasions, the most won by any player this season.
Six wins power Ahly to league title
After the departure of Swiss coach Marcel Koller following the CAF Champions League exit, interim boss Emad El-Nahass stepped in during a critical phase of the domestic campaign, steering the Cairo giants to six straight wins that ultimately secured the league title.
The winning run piled pressure on leaders Pyramids FC, who stumbled with back-to-back defeats, dropping six points and allowing Ahly to overtake them at the top of the table.
Ahly’s streak began with a narrow 3-2 victory over Petrojet and was followed by a 5-0 demolition of Harras El-Hodoud.
They eased past Masry 4-2 before edging Ceramica Cleopatra 1-0 in a cagey affair.
A dramatic 2-1 win over NBE Club came courtesy of a stoppage-time strike from forward Wessam Abou Ali, and the Red Devils sealed the title with a resounding 6-0 triumph over Pharco FC on the final day after claiming maximum 18 points.
End of an era
The league crown also marks the end of the road for several players and staff members at the club.
Defender Rami Rabie and defensive midfielder Akram Tawfiq, both key figures in recent seasons, are set to depart after declining to renew their contracts due to financial disagreements.
Third-choice goalkeeper Hamza Alaa will also leave the club in search of more playing time.
Veteran Tunisian left-back Ali Maaloul is expected to depart after nine seasons, with the club reportedly opting not to renew his contract to make room for new foreign signings.
Moroccan fullback Yahya Attiat Allah, on loan from Russian club Sochi, is also set to leave, with the club reportedly opting not to activate the purchase option after an injury-hit season in which he struggled to make an impact.
Interim coach El-Nahass, who led Ahly to the title, will not be retained under the incoming technical staff. Spanish coach Jose Riveiro is expected to be unveiled on Thursday and, according to sources, prefers a fully foreign coaching team.
Assistant coach Mohamed Shawki is also unlikely to remain in the dugout but is expected to continue in his current role as the club’s assistant sporting director.
Ahly will depart for the U.S. next week to prepare for the FIFA Club World Cup.
