The Portuguese champions have been drawn in Group A alongside Egypt’s Ahly, Brazilian side Palmeiras, and Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami.
Porto open their campaign against Palmeiras on Monday 16 June before facing Inter Miami three days later.
They will conclude the group stage against Ahly on 24 June.
“All our opponents have quality,” Perez told Portuguese sports daily Record.
“Each of them brings something different. Palmeiras are a strong side, Inter Miami have exceptional players, and Ahly are also a very good team.”
Ahly kick off their Club World Cup campign against Inter Miami in the tournament’s opening match on Sunday 15 June and face Palmeiras on 19 June.
