The ministry of manpower and emigration has received 60,000 requests for financial assistance from Egyptians returning from Libya

Almost 60,000 Egyptians have been severely affected by the crisis in Libya, says Ahmed El-Borei, minister of manpower and emigration.

El-Borei pointed out that between 120 to 140 thousand Egyptians have returned from Libya and 60,000 have already asked for financial assistance, something that also occurred when Egyptians were forced to flee during the Gulf War.

Repatriates request compensation by submitting a request to the various ministry offices.
