Unstable spring weather, swinging between brief heat waves followed by cold spells, interspersed with rain and high winds, ruled in the last few days.
Meanwhile, the the Matrouh area on the Mediterranean near the Libyan border, as well as the whole north-western coast, have seen on Monday a spell of bad weather with high winds blowing sand and dust especially in the western parts of Matrouh governorate, MENA reported.
