Three more trucks were smashed and their drivers beaten in the Egyptian Nile Delta early this morning.

In the last couple of days there have been several truck burnings and smashings, aimed at truck drivers who have not followed the general strike organised by truck drivers and owners. 

Truckers are on strike due to recent decisions to substantially increase their taxes and to ban trailer use by early next year.
