Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry discussed over the phone Friday with his US counterpart, John Kerry, recent developments in efforts to restart Palestinian-Israeli peace talks, as well as a number of international and regional issues.
Among issues discussed were the latest developments in Libya and Syria.
The two diplomats also discussed the United Kingdom’s Thursday vote to leave the European Union and the possible repercussions of the move.
Shoukry and Kerry agreed to keep in touch and follow up on developments after the UK's exit vote.
