Egypt will see hot weather on Saturday ahead of the Eid Al-Adha festival next week.

According to state owned MENA agency, the country’s northern coast will see hot weather on Saturday, while Upper Egypt will witness “extremely hot” weather.

Cairo and Alexandria will see highs of 36 and 32 and lows of 26 on Saturday.  

At night, temperatures will drop.

There will be moderate waves on the Mediterranean Sea reaching 1.5-2 metres in height, while the Red Sea will see waves of 2-2.5 metres.

The three-day festival of Eid Al-Adha starts on Tuesday next week.
