Egypt's minister of tourism opens Egyptian Pavilion at first Economic-Commercial Chinese-African exhibition

Egypt's minister of Tourism Dr. Rania Al-Mashat has opened, on Thursday, the Egyptian pavilion during the first Economic-Commercial Chinese-African exhibition, which is held on 27-29 June in Changsha, the capital of central China’s Hunan province. 

The Opening ceremony was attended by the Egyptian Ambassador in China, Osama El-Magdoub. 

The Egyptian minister welcomed the participants, referring to the exhibition's importance as a gate for opening new horizons of cooperation between China and African countries in several fields, especially in investment, agriculture, tourism, food industries. This comes during Egypt's current chairmanship to the African Union. 

Egypt's ambassador in China, Osama El-Magdoub, said that the exhibition reflects China’s openness to new opportunities in Africa, especially in Egypt. 

The vice chairman of Egypt's Suez Canal Economic Zone said that the participation in the exhibition aims at promoting economic and logistical service opportunity offerings from the zone to investors, as well as enhancing partnership between Chinese and African companies. 

Several Egyptian governmental financial economic institutions and banks participated in the exhibition including the National Bank of Egypt, Banque Misr, and the Export Development Bank of Egypt. 

The Exhibition also saw the participation of several export entities like the Businessmen Association, the Export Council for Agricultural Crops, food industries, and construction companies
