Egypt's non-oil exports increased by 5 percent year-on-year in June, reaching $1.905 billion, state news agency MENA said on Tuesday.

Non-oil exports in the same month last year stood at $1.81 billion, MENA said, citing a report by the General Organisation For Export and Import Control (GOEIC).

Industrial and food commodities made up 66 percent of total non-oil exports in June.

Industrial exports include petroleum oils, monitor screens, wires and cables, while exported food commodities include fresh and dry grapes, onions, potatoes, frozen vegetables, chocolates, cheese, and wheat flour.
