The region can't tolerate further turbulence, Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi said during a session held to ask the President questions about domestic and international issues.

El-Sisi stressed on the necessity of accomplishing stability in the region with the importance of finding solutions away from conflicts.

"We should find solutions away from military action," El-Sisi said as he answered a question on the effect of the Gulf crisis on fuel price hikes globally.

El-Sisi said that the region has been facing turmoil since 2011, stressing the need to diverge away from military action.

The President mentioned several countries facing distress, including Syria, Yemen, and others, while pointing at the significance of considering a 'response' by Israel if, for example, if Shia affiliated Hezbollah fighters or 'other militias were to launch an attack against Israel.

"We always want solutions that come under preserving Arab national security and Gulf security," El-Sisi said.
