Head of Justice and Equality Movement (JEM) in Sudan Jibril Ibrahim hopes that the ongoing meetings of the differing Sudanese parties in Cairo will help overcoming the current turmoil in the Arab African country.Ibrahim urged all parties to work for the common higher interest of Sudan.
In press statements, Ibrahim said that Sudan Revolutionary Front is working for achieving peace, stability and justice in the country in addition to entrenching the principles of citizenship via a viable just and comprehensive peace agreement.
Over the past few days opposition leaders have held meeting in Cairo to discuss the current crises in Sudan
The meeting comprises leaders of the Alliance for Freedom and Change and the Sudan Revolutionary Front (SRF).
Head of Sudan People's Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N) Malik Agar lauded Egypt's role to create an environment suitable for uniting ranks among the different parties in Sudan.
In press statements on Monday, Agar said that there are different parties in Sudan along with varied cultures and races that need to be managed in a good way in order to build a state based on law and citizenship.
Egypt's President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi stressed during a meeting in Cairo last month with the vice president of Sudan's Transitional Military Council General Mohamed Hassan Dagalo (Hemeti) "Cairo's strategic, constant support for the stability and security of Sudan".
