Deputy prosecutor-general orders that the travel ban placed on the 19 American NGO workers be lifted upon the request of the investigative committee headed by two judges, Reuters Arabic quoted judicial sources as saying.
The charges, however, have not been lifted.
Fourteen Egyptian and 29 foreign aid workers have been charged with receiving illegal foreign funding and for working without a formal license. They have been accused of posing a threat to Egypt's national security.
