Egypt's coronavirus peak in two weeks: Presidential health adviser

Egyptian President’s Health Adviser Awad Tag El-Din said on Wednesday that Egypt will reach the peak of the coronavirus infections after two weeks.

Tag El-Din's statement came during his participation in a virtual conference on coronavirus held by the University of Tanta.

During the online conference, the presidential health adviser demanded that the University of Tanta dedicates a hotline to receive reports about new cases and prepare a quarantine hospital in the university.

Egypt has until Wednesday recorded 19,666 cases, including 5,205 recoveries and 816 fatalities.
