An unnamed security source quoted in Al-Ahram's Arabic language news website has claimed that two men planning to attack foreign ships passing through the Suez Canal have been arrested.
Soliman Rizq Abdel Razeq, from Sheikh Zayed in Ismailia governorate, was planning to attack the ships from East Kantara, the source claimed.
Abdel Razeq allegedly tried to recruit accomplices and said his aim was to damage the economy.
