Egyptian naval forces held a naval military exercise in the Mediterranean Sea as part of the Egyptian Armed Forces’ plan to exchange expertise with friendly and neighbouring countries.

According to a statement released by the Egyptian Armed Forces on Friday, Egyptian frigate Taba and Greek frigate HS HYDRA F-452 participated in the exercise, which included several training activities.

The statement added that the exercise came in the framework of cooperation between the Egyptian and Greek armed forces and exchanging expertise to achieve the joint interests of marine security and stability in the region.
