The interior ministry has resumed responsibility for security at police stations in Suez for the first time since the January 25 Revolution.
The armed forces, which took over security at police stations in February 2011, handed over responsibility to security forces from the interior ministry at dawn on Thursday.
More attacks on police stations have taken place in Suez than in any other governorate since the January 25 Revolution.
