President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has directed the expansion of efforts aimed at digitizing government services and developing the Egyptian countryside as part of "A Decent Life" initiative, particularly in vital fields such as medical services, hospitals and other health facilities.

During a meeting Thursday with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli and Minister of Planning and Economic Development Hala el Saied, the president also directed to step up efforts exerted for lining and rehabilitating lakes and providing necessary funds for that purpose, Presidency Spokesman Bassam Radi said.

The meeting covered the sustainable development plan for fiscal 2021/2022, he said.
