The hospital received three casualties who had been injured, including two men -- Mohamed Abdel Salem and Ahmed Ibrahim -- and one child -- Yazen Hazem.

According to relatives who accompanied the casualties to Egypt, Israeli forces had been targeting civilians. This includes children like Yazen, who was severely injured when a missile hit her home.

El-Arish hospital has already sent 50 ambulances and a dedicated medical team to receive more injured from Gaza as part of President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi’s directives to support Palestinian people in the current crisis.

According to the latest numbers issued by the Palestinian Health Ministry, 197 people have been killed -- including 58 children and 34 women -- and at least 1,235 have been injured since the start of the Israeli attack in Gaza.
