Al-Ahram opens Canadian education fair

The Canadian Education Fair hosted by Al-Ahram to open Friday

Mamdouh El-Wali, CEO of Al-Ahram, with Canadian ambassador to Egypt David Drake, inaugurated the Canadian Education Fair at Al-Ahram's Cairo headquarters on Thursday. Present were Farouk Ismail, president of the Al-Ahram Canadian University, Mahmoud Desouki, Director of Advertising in Al-Ahram, Galal Gemeia, head of cultural relations, and Ahmed Salmawi, the deputy minister for higher education.

The fair, which hosts 12 Canadian universities, is to end on Friday night. According to Canadian officials, it provides an opportunity for Egyptian students willing or hoping to study in Canada who are presented with information on tuition and conditions of visa procedures. The fair will be open to visitors as of Friday at 2 pm.
