The final tallies are out on Egyptian expat voting in the UK over the constitution referendum.
Of the 3010 voters, 2067 (about 68.7 per cent) voted 'No,' rejecting the draft constitution, while 943 voters (about 31.3 per cent), voted 'Yes.'
Only 45 per cent of the 6225 eligible registered voters in the UK went out to the polls.
The total number of Egyptian expatriates in the UK is estimated at 250,000. They are second largest Egyptian community on Europe after Italy.
None of the members of the Egyptian diplomatic mission in the UK boycotted the voting process.
More than 200 diplomats, including the ambassadors to Finland, Australia, Finland, Spain and Sri Lanka, announced they would not supervise the referendum, in protest over the deaths of protesters during clashes outside the presidential palace on 5 December.
