The committee drafting Egypt's new constitution started its second voting session shortly after 3pm on Sunday.
Committee spokesperson Mohamed Salmawi said 49 members would attend Sunday's session.
Forty-eight members of the 50-member committee passed 138 articles in Saturday's session, as well as the constitution's preamble.
The committee completed voting on chapters 1,2,3 and 4, which included articles on rights and freedoms and the principle foundations of the state and society.
