The three defendants were being investiagated by prosecutors in another gang rape case dating back to 2014 - known as the Fairmont Hotel rape case – at the time of their referral to court in the North Coast rape case in April.
The prosecution referred the defendants to court in the North Coast case after receiving a video showing two of the defendants sexually assaulting a woman.
The prosecution gathered evidence against the defendants in the case from the testimony of the victim and six other witnesses.
The forensics department also confirmed the identities of the woman being sexually assaulted in the video as well as one of the assailants.
Tuesday's verdict could be automatically appealed if those convicted appear in court.
A life sentences carries 25 years in jail, per the Egyptian penal code.
In May, the prosecution ordered the Fairmont Hotel case temporarily closed due to insufficient evidence.
