The court rejected appeals by 34 defendants sentenced over violence at El-Tebeen police station in Cairo, upholding their prison sentences.
The verdicts are final and cannot be appealed further.
The case dates back to August 2013, when violence and riots broke out in central Cairo and other governorates following the dispersal of sit-ins protesting the ouster of late Islamist president Mohamed Morsi.
The defendants were found guilty of illegal assembly, thuggery, murder, and attempted murder of policemen at the Cairo district of Helwan’s El-Tebeen police station.
They were also convicted of possessing weapons, arson, facilitating the escape of prisoners, and being members of an outlawed group.
