The public prosecution said in a statement that it had listened to 11 of the deceased child's classmates who affirmed that the teacher used to beat students with a stick.
The teacher fiercely hit the child several times on her body, causing her to stagger and to hit her head on the seat as she fell to the ground, the prosecution said.
The student was rushed to hospital after the teacher attempted to resuscitate her.
During investigations, the teacher denied the charges, claiming instead that the student suddenly dropped unconscious in the class.
The prosecution ordered the Forensic Medicine Authority to examine the injuries on the child's body and produce a report disclosing the cause of death.
