The defendants are accused of charges connected to their activities in the period between 2014 and 2021 in Cairo, Giza and Luxor, according to the Public Prosecution.
The prosecution has charged the defendants of leading and joining a terrorist group and receiving military, security and technical training with the purpose of disturbing public order, constitution and laws.
The charges also included financing terrorist crimes as well as possessing and providing weapons, ammunition, explosives to a terrorist group.
The case is locally known as "Masr El-Gedida Cell".
Today's verdict has to be ratified by the president per the penal code.
